Careers
In order to be hired onto the Winchester Fire Department, the following conditions must be met.
Must have a High School Diploma or GED
Must have a valid Massachusetts Driver's License
Pass a physical/medical exam, and an extensive background check
Must be a Massachusetts Paramedic
Eligible for employment on the Massachusetts Civil Service List
Must successfully pass the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy
